The project/ assignment would be marked at 100 marks. Each assignment is broken up into sections and each section carries specific weight age. Missing out any section in your project will affect your final evaluation scores.
The candidates must note that the certification process follows globally accepted standards of evaluation based on a combination of knowledge and skill evaluation which will be done through the research project submitted by the participant.
It will deal with the assessment of your understanding in terms of depth of the concepts for the subject. The project should reflect the practical aspects involved and should have high degree workplace relevance.
The project could be done in the current organization of the participant or he/she can choose a dummy organization in a specific industry and complete the project.

The CPTP project tests your ability to design a selection method based on psychometric testing, administer the psychometric tests and analyze the test reports for a particular position within your organization.
Section 1- Project summary
Project summary should be a one page abstract inclusive of:
Section 2- Designing the selection tests for a particular position - Ability Test
Select a particular role/ position in your organization and design the selection tests for the same. This has to be done in a step by step manner as follows where each step carries certain weightage
Step 1 Give the Job description for the position chosen.
In the job description identify the knowledge, skills, traits or abilities required for performing the job in question based on the job description and job specification.
Step 2 Segregate these into technical and non technical aspects.
[For example, a software engineer may require good communication skills, coding abilities, knowledge of various software tools and applications, attention to detail for analyzing codes, logical ability and high level of reasoning, mathematical ability etc. These can be segregated as under Technical- Coding, Knowledge of various software tools and applications. Non Technical- Communication skills, attention to detail, logical ability, of reasoning, mathematical ability
Step 3 Identify and design two ability test:
Identify two tests that accurately check the aptitude which predict either technical or non technical skills mentioned in step 2.
Each ability test should contain 20 questions. Categorize the 20 questions into three levels- Difficult, medium and easy based on the position for which they are being given. The test can be administered on a sample of five people currently holding the role in question and the difficulty levels can be ascertained based on the number of people (in the sample) answering the questions correctly.
Section 3- Using RSI: Administer the RSI test on one person and analyze the test reports. Present a detailed analysis on the career drivers of the person using RSI and identify ideal career paths for the person. Please enclose the detailed scores of RSI of the person.
Section 4:- Using PSI
Administer the PSI test on one person and analyze the test reports. Present a detailed analysis on the personality types, their characteristics, strength & weaknesses, impact of their in personal and professional life. Please enclose the questionnaire answered & score sheet of test.
Section 5: Using TAT
Administer the TAT test on one person and analyze the test reports. Analyze the TAT press and motives based on the story - please ensure in your assessment paper you include the stories given along with the analysis.

The assessment process will include a set of assignments that you will need to complete. The assignment totals 100 marks.
Break-Up Of Marks
At the end of the assessment we would like the participants to know how they have fared. We have calibrated the rankings as given below from high honors to pass i.e. from excellent to average performance.
The percentage at each level has been arrived at by a statistical analysis. This percentage can vary from year to year depending on the trends.
